LIGHT THE WAY: A SEASON OF STRENGTH
Give Hope This Winter — A Season of Strength for Women and Children
Help women and children find safety, warmth, and hope this winter
When winter sets in, the cold can be more than a season — it can be a reminder of how hard it is to find warmth, safety, and stability. For women and children facing housing instability, trauma, violence, substance use, and related challenges, this time of year can feel especially heavy.
At The Jean Tweed Centre, we help women rebuild their lives, support their healing, and help their children thrive. Last year, we supported over 3,000 women and children, impacting more than 16,000 lives through programs that nurture connection, hope, and possibility.
Your gift helps light the way for a mother finding the strength to rebuild, for a child who deserves to feel the magic of the season, and for families working toward brighter days together. Together, we can ensure that every woman and child has the support, warmth, and compassion they need to begin again — with dignity, courage, and love.
This winter, give hope. Light the Way — and help women and children find their Season of Strength.

Support Our Toy Drive
Every child deserves to feel the joy and magic of the season. This winter, we invite you to support our Toy Drive, running from November 18 – December 18.
Your donation of new, unwrapped toys helps create moments of happiness, laughter, and comfort for children who have faced immense challenges.
Each toy represents kindness and care — a reminder that they are seen, valued, and supported by their community.
To donate, please contact Diane Presta, Senior Manager of Fund Development and Communications, at diane.presta@jeantweed.com or call 416-712-4295.
