Day Program

The Jean Tweed Centre has made changes to some of our programs in the interest of the health and safety of our clients during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are currently closed to walk in clients, you must have an appointment before visiting. Please contact us before you visit our office.

This is an intensive, three-week program for women who live locally or can stay locally.

Joining other women from across the province who face similar challenges, you will learn about the impacts of substance use and/or gambling on your life, your relationships and your health, and start making positive changes.

You can expect to participate in a variety of groups that focus on building life skills and healthy habits, including:

  • Self esteem
  • Healthy relationships
  • Managing emotions
  • Effective communication
  • Wellness

In addition to group participation, you’ll have a dedicated individual counsellor to work through challenges one-on-one.
