Join us for an elegant high tea in celebration of International Women’s Day, in support of The Jean Tweed Centre. This special gathering honours the strength, resilience, and power of women while raising critical funds to support women and children impacted by violence, trauma, housing instability, mental health challenges, substance use, and related challenges.

Why She Rises Matters

Proceeds from She Rises directly support The Jean Tweed Centre’s programs and services that provide safety, healing, and hope for women and children in our community. Your participation helps create pathways to stability, dignity, and long-term change for those impacted by violence, trauma, housing instability, mental health challenges, substance use, and related challenges.

The High Tea Experience

Guests will enjoy an elegant and thoughtfully curated high tea experience, including:

  • A tea cart at reception featuring assorted herbal, flavoured, and black teas

  • Three-tier high tea displays per table, including:

    • Assorted tea sandwiches

      • Ham and cheese

      • Smoked salmon and cream cheese

      • Chicken salad

      • Tomato, pesto, and mozzarella

    • Petite fours, scones, and macrons

    • Mini quiche platters

    • Assorted international and domestic cheeses, garnished with grapes

    • Assorted jams and jellies served per table

  • Mimosa service at reception

  • Wine Service at tables

  • Non-alcoholic beverage bar, including soft drinks, spring water, sparkling water, juices, coffee, and tea
