Intensive Online Program

The programs and services below provide support for mothers, expecting mothers, or other caregivers working through challenges with substance use and/or gambling who want to understand how these challenges affect parenting, children, and families and strengthen their parenting or caregiving skills.

Intensive Online Program (IOP)

The Intensive Online Program (IOP) was developed in response to Covid to meet the immediate needs of clients. IOP is a successful, accessible option for any woman who needs an intensive online program for substance use and/or gambling concerns in an environment where her needs are understood. IOP reaches women all over the province, in large and rural centres, women at home, in hospitals, and shelters.

When: The IOP provides a 3 week intensive online experience with group, workshops and individual counselling sessions offered between 9a.m and 5p.m

Where: Online


Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays:
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesdays and Thursdays:
8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The CDC is also open late during Information Nights
